The Summer Game Fest showcase kicked off with a character reveal for Capcom’s Street Fighter 6. It’s Guile, “America’s Hero” and a fan-favorite sporting all of his usual moves. Check it out below.

Along with dishing out some Sonic Booms and Flash Kicks, Guile is capable of powering up his techniques, unleashing several projectiles in one go. Despite being a bit older, he’s still a powerhouse and the RE Engine amplifies the oomph of each punch. And yes, his classic comb makes a comeback for some post-match styling.

Street Fighter 6 is scheduled to launch sometime in 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game is being built on the RE Engine and will bring several new innovations for the series to the table, including its World Tour Mode, and new mechanics like the Drive system. More details on the game are likely coming in the next few days as well, with the Capcom Showcase set for June 13, so stay tuned for more updates.
