The rumored event will also reportedly look at major titles that Microsoft is releasing this year and could be a recurring event.
The upcoming open world shooter is unlike anything Arkane has done in the past, but the studio isn't quite done with immersive sims yet.
Weapons have random perks, so you may find a shotgun that either sets enemies on fire or fires with a UV flash to petrify vampires.
Characters will interact with each other dynamically based on squad composition, and will developer deeper bonds as they spend more time together.
"The pool that Game Pass offers is huge for us. It's kind of shocking, and scary in a way," says Arkane's studio director Harvey Smith.
"We got insight from some of our sister studios; the people who worked on DOOM came over and gave us feedback a couple of times," says creative director Ricardo Bare.
While it may feature four playable characters in co-op, according to its developers, Redfall is closer to Far Cry than it is to Left 4 Dead.
Jason Kelley, who voiced Deathloop's protagonist Cole, may have let slip that a new Deathloop game is in the works.
New reports claim that the open world first person shooter is targeting a launch in the first week of May, with a brief early access period planned as well.
Microsoft has confirmed it's raising the prices of its first party console titles, starting with 2023 releases like Forza Motorsport, Redfall, and Starfield.
"The decision to give the team the time to build the game that they feel they should be building is just the right thing to do," says Xbox's Phil Spencer.
Though still slated for the first half of 2023, Arkane Studios could hold a beta test for its co-op shooter sometime before launch.
"One thing we’ve definitely heard loud and clear is it’s been too long since we’ve shipped what people would say is a big first-party game," says Phil Spencer.
Different threats include the Angler, which can grab players, and the Watcher, which stands guard and can seemingly alert allies.
Creative director Dinga Bakaba has confirmed that Deathloop takes place in the same universe as the Dishonored games.
Arkane Studios' shooter is finally available on Xbox Series consoles with a large new update, but it's still very much the same middling experience.

The new ability is Fugue, which intoxicates enemies, while the new weapon is the HALPS Prototype for slicing enemies with lasers.
The Arkane Studios title will also receive the new Goldenloop update with a new weapon, ability, cross-play matchmaking, and more.
Developed by Microsoft-owned Arkane Studios, the first person shooter launched as a PS5 timed exclusive in September last year.
