CD Projekt RED and Netflix are teaming up again after the success of the acclaimed Cyberpunk: Edgerunners to work on another animated show set in the same universe.
"There are plans we’d rather keep quiet until there is something to speak about, until there is really something to discuss, some concreate announcement," says CCO Michał Nowakowski.
The live action project, which is being handled by entertainment company Anonymous Content, has entered early development, CDPR confirms.
However, the company reiterates that it currently has no plans for a second season of the highly-acclaimed Netflix anime.
"Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was planned as a standalone work," says CD Projekt Red‘s Japan country manager Satoru Honma.

It looks like CD Projekt RED doesn't plan on repeating the mistakes it made during Cyberpunk 2077's development.
CD Projekt RED it will implement multiplayer in "most of" its future titles in order to "enrich the single player experience."
The Polish studio confirms that in addition to The Witcher series' next instalment, another AAA project has also entered development.
Original Cyberpunk creator says it was "very smart not to show" gameplay to the world.
At the very least, it won't be CyberPunk 2077.
