This is the first time a classic console will be playable in either the Yakuza or Judgment series. Sega's arcade games have been playable in past entries.
The Yakuza spin-off features a new protagonist in Takayuki Yagami. Its sequel, Lost Judgment, is out on September 24th worldwide.
The highly acclaimed RPG has now joined Microsoft's subscription service, following in the footsteps of several other Yakuza games.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon Legendary Hero Edition, which also includes all of the DLC, was listed for the Xbox Game Pass on the Microsoft Store.
"We had to think about what would be appropriate for the product and how to convey the appeal of the product in each region," explains producer Kazuki Hosokawa.
Ultimate Showdown successfully revives an excellent fighting game at a very interesting time for the genre.
It contains some 2,000 customization items, the original Virtua Fighter stages, music from all across the series, Spectator Stamps and much more.
The fighting game will be available as an arcade title in Ryu ga Gotoku Studio's action adventure title when it releases in September.
The PS4 title's opening movie has also been revealed. Along with releasing on June 1st for PS Plus, it launches on June 2nd for arcades in Japan.

For now, the game is only going to launch for consoles.
Judgment will now be Ryu ga Gotoku Studio's main action series.
The sequel will be coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5 this Fall.
