Tekken 8 Trailer Reveals Lars Alexandersson

The leader of the Tekken Force rebel group is back, retaining his incredible speed and lightning-infused strikes and launchers.

A new gameplay trailer is available for Bandai Namco’s Tekken 8, unveiling Lars Alexandersson. As Heihachi Mishima’s illegitimate child, he leads the rebels of Tekken Force in a protagonist role. Unsurprisingly, he’s still fast as heck and can deal massive damage. Check him out below.

If you enjoyed using Lars for its move set, especially the launchers and juggles, then good news: He has plenty of those in spades. His speed fits the new Heat Burst and Heat Engager actions while encouraging the new focus on aggression throughout the sequel. Of course, dishing out lightning with various attacks doesn’t hurt either.

Tekken 8 is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, developed on Unreal Engine 5 without any assets from Tekken 7. Though the developer hasn’t announced a release date, it’s expected to release sometime before April 2024.
