Terraria
The sandbox 2D platformer Terraria is finally available on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad via launching on iOS. Publisher 505 Games has announced that it will retail for £3.99 on the Apple App Store (which you can pick up here). Unlike the console version developed by 505 Games and the PC version developed by Re-Logic, the iOS version has been brought to us by Codeglue.

Terraria on iOS has all the crafting options from the original PC version, but with controls revamped for the iOS to fit the touch-based interface (which has several different settings). In fact, the entire game world has been re-balanced iOS and optimized for the Retinal Display on iPhone and iPad. The game will feature 75 enemies and leaderboards as well.

In the same vein of Minecraft, Terraria allows you to create just about anything and explore the world to your leisure. You can populate towns, hunt enemies, build entire cities and much more. Let’s see how it works out on iOS.
