Originally released in 2011 on PC by creator-developer Andrew Spinks’ Re-Logic studio, Terraria is a side-scrolling and action-adventure sandbox game.
The game has an emphasis on crafting and exploration set in vast and vibrant worlds.
Launched in May 2011, the sandbox action RPG has sold nearly 32 million units on PC alone, with its next update coming this year.
Terraria has gotten its massive 1.4.4 update, titled Labor of Love. The update adds a host of new features, world seeds, and quality of life updates.
Creator Andrew Spinks' Twitter location change to "Terraria 2 - The New Age" is "all in good fun" as per Re-Logic's Ted Murphy.
Weapons like Flairon, Frostbrand and Scourge of the Corruptor are being buffed. Numerous quality-of-life changes are also coming.
A new World Seed based on The Constant, Deerclops and more come to Terraria, while Eye of Cthulhu and skins come to Don't Starve.
Among other foes, Deerclops will be coming to Terraria while the Eye of Cthulhu invades The Constant in Klei Entertainment's Don't Starve.
Re-Logic recently shared a GIF of Don't Starve and said, "You know how we always say that we are done adding content to Terraria?"
