The Division 2’s Dark Zone Receives 15 Minutes of Footage in New Gameplay Video

The retooled and expanded take on the divisive PvEvP mode looks more polished, if nothing else.

The Division 2

One of the more divisive aspects of Ubisoft’s shared world looter shooter The Division was its PvEvP arena called the Dark Zone, but it’s an area of the game that the developer has claimed it’s going to be improving upon. Recently, we got an information dump – and a good chunk of gameplay footage – on everything that’s going to be improved in the Dark Zone in The Division 2, and everything that’s going to be new, and now, courtesy of YouTube channel Arekkz Gaming, we have fifteen minutes of uncut Dark Zone gameplay footage as well.

Though it’s hard to judge from just fifteen minutes of gameplay, it certainly does look like the Dark Zone is, at the very least, going to be a more polished experience in the upcoming sequel. There still seem to be some issues, at least based on this footage, such as problematic TTK, while other than the visual aesthetic itself, it’s hard to pinpoint any differences that are too major- but again, as I said, it’s just fifteen minutes of gameplay, so I could be wrong. Take a look below, and you be the judge.

The Division 2 launches on March 15 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC (where it’ll be exclusive to the Epic Games Store), but it’ll be receiving a closed beta in February as well. We also recently got a story-focused trailer for the game- take a look through here.
