The Division

Tom Clancy’s The Division may be a loot-based shooter that has you battling rival factions and rogue agents but it’s centered around one key event – the release of a virus and the epidemic this brings to the United States, primarily New York City.

Ubisoft has been hosting campaigns before to highlight how infected one’s money can be and with its recent simulator Collapse, it invites you to see how badly things can go wrong if a virus infects your area.

Collapse is based off of quite a lot of technology including NASA open source, IATA Flight routes and Street Map. All you need to do is enter your area’s information and Collapse will tell you how quickly the virus can spread, first in your locality and then worldwide. Protip: Don’t take a plane to somewhere else if society is collapsing around you. It’s just bad news for the rest of the world.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is out on March 8th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments.
