The King of Fighters 15

SNK has announced that The King of Fighters 15: Season 2 will begin in January 2023. It adds a new DLC character, Shingo Yabuki, and a character balance update. Check out the announcement trailer below.

In Spring 2023, Kim Kaphwan will be added, and an open beta test for cross-platform play is planned. The latter will allow for multiplayer among PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC players. PC players on different digital platforms like Epic Games Store, Steam, and Windows Store will also be able to play against each other.

The developer confirmed that more DLC characters are in the works, though it didn’t specify which ones. The King of Fighters 15 was released earlier this year and has had two Team Passes thus far, adding 12 new characters via DLC. This includes Rock Howard, B. Jenet, Haohmaru, Nakoruru, Geese Howard, Billy Kane, and Awakened versions of Team Orochi. Omega Rugal was also released for free.

Stay tuned for more details on future DLC, and check out our review for the base game here.
