The Last of Us: Part 2 Director Teases E3 2018 Reveal

Possible gameplay reveal? Release date announcement?

Posted By | On 22nd, May. 2018

Of the many PlayStation 4 exclusives we’ve seen and heard about, one title remains conspicuously missing – Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us: Part 2. Though Sony confirmed that it would be one of four major titles showcased in its E3 2018 presser, there hasn’t been much by way of details or gameplay.

That will likely change at the actual presser though. Director Neil Druckmann tweeted out an image of the Fireflies logo emblazoned on a roadside Stop sign, seen in the first announcement trailer from PlayStation Experience 2016. The words “T-minus 3 weeks” pretty much indicates that there will be something significant at E3 2018.

Could gameplay footage finally be revealed? Will Sony shock the world and announce the sequel for release later this year (which isn’t an impossibility as per Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter)? Will there be more cinematic footage? Whatever the case may be, we’ll find out Sony’s E3 2018 presser taking place on June 11th at 6 PM PT.
