the last of us part 2

The Last of Us – Part 2 is one of the most hotly anticipated upcoming releases on the PS4, so it’s not surprising in the slightest that millions are looking forward to when the next piece of information on the game finally drops. Since the game’s E3 2018 showing, there’s been nothing but radio silence from Sony and Naughty Dog, what with them having skipped PSX last year as well. And with Sony not attending E3 this year, one has to wonder just when we’ll be seeing more of Naughty Dog’s upcoming title.

Arne Meyer, director of communications of Naughty Dog, recently fielded a question about the same on Twitter. As per Meyer, more information on the game – a trailer, new updates, anything – will only come when said information is ready to be shared, and when Naughty Dog are ready to share it… which really goes without saying. But it also implies that there’s nothing of the sort to look forward to in the immediate future.

That said, there have been plenty of reports lately about the game releasing this year itself, arising from the game’s composer, to Sony themselves. Be sure to read about it all through the links.
