It’s hard to believe, but we’re just over a week away from the upcoming RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, The Outer Worlds. The Fallout style game promises a load of content, humor and just a good time. Some news that was a damper to PlayStation players earlier, however, was that game would be enhanced for the Xbox One X, but not the PS4 Pro. Well, it seems publisher Private Division has stepped in to clear that up with information that will make Pro users happy.
In a tweet from the official Twitter, Private Divison confirmed that both the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro will see enhancements for the game. While the X still wins out on the visual side of things since it will feature full 4K textures and resolutions and the Pro is upscaled, both versions of the game will get a boost regardless.
The Outer Worlds will release on October 25th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with a Switch version coming at a later date. To check out the first 20 minutes of the game, go through here.
The @OuterWorlds is enhanced for both Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. It includes 4K textures and resolution on Xbox One X and PC, and upsamples to 4K from 1440p on PS4 Pro. It looks great across all platforms and we’re excited for players to experience The Outer Worlds on October 25th.
