5. Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth
The second part in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy saw Square Enix taking every bit of feedback from fans and going beyond expectations in every single way. Larger open-world-like maps brimming with side quests, mini-games, side-activities, and challenging bosses; combat refinements to summons and the introduction of Synergies for more strategy; top-tier visuals coupled with an amazing soundtrack – it had everything that an RPG fan could desire. We don’t know how the third part will top it, but the development team certainly has its work cut out.
