Kirby Star Allies
Kirby Star Allies is an odd 2.5D platformer, even by Kirby standards. Launching in March 2018, the game was praised for its gorgeous art-style but criticized for its easy difficulty. Though numerous updates and free characters have helped improve it, Kirby Star Allies is still a more laid-back platformer, one that you can easily cruise through with friends or AI companions who provide special team-up attacks. Performing different Friend Actions and recognizing all the homages is fun, even if you won’t feel terribly challenged at the end of the day.
