Formulas and tropes are a thing in gaming because they work. Despite Playground Games having its own formula for the Forza Horizon series, it’s incredible how it can change things for the better. Mexico as a setting this time offers more diversity with its environments and weather types – like massive dust storms – than ever before. But now you’ll be setting up multiple Festival Sites, each corresponding to a different racing type, and earning Accolades to get into the Hall of Fame. Don’t worry though – the series’ penchant for incredible racing, hundreds of amazing cars, and meaningful races in gorgeous environments remains.
