18. Ori and the Will of the Wisps
Ori and the Blind Forest was already a great game but for its sequel, Moon Studios spent a long time polishing and perfecting on the same. This can be seen in the gorgeous visuals, from character animations to backgrounds, but the gameplay has also evolved tremendously. Utilizing Shards for upgrades, auto-saving instead of Soul Links, and new abilities like Spirit Edge for close combat, resulted in more intuitive combat and pacing. Of course, there were also plenty of secrets and memorable bosses to face, made all the better with the emotional story.
