12. The Last of Us
From the very beginning when you control Sarah, Joel’s 12-year old daughter, it’s clear The Last of Us isn’t going to be an easy journey. When you’re in the heat of combat, brutally bashing a raider, or sneaking past a Clicker to avoid certain death, there’s an ever-increasing level of stress. But it’s also an incredibly beautiful story, one that presents hope in the midst of despair and love in the face of carnage.
