Warframe’s Fortuna: The Profit Taker Out for PS4 and Xbox One Today

Archguns and new Warframe Baruuk will also be available with the update.

Update: The Profit Taker is now available for PS4 and Xbox One, along with Nintendo Switch. No waiting required, NinTenno.

Digital Extremes released the next big chapter in Warframe’s Fortuna expansion last month with The Profit Taker, but that was for PC players only. Xbox One and PS4 Tenno will now finally get their shot at taking down an Orb Mother though. The Profit Taker goes live today for consoles (Nintendo Switch players will have to wait though).

The objective in The Profit Taker is fulfilling several stages of “heist” planning. This culminates in an ultimate battle with the giant spider-like Orb Mother that’s been causing headaches for Solaris United. To help players stand a chance, Archwing weapons aka Archguns can be used on land. Make sure you come prepared and level them accordingly.

The latest Warframe, Baruuk, is also coming to consoles with this update. A support/DPS frames, Baruuk is capable of sleeping a large number of foes, dodging enemy projectiles when not attacking, and disarming enemies with floating daggers. When his Restraint is fully eroded thanks to eluding a whole bunch, Baruuk can activate Serene Storm and destroy foes with radial strikes.

This year is going to be especially busy for Warframe players, with a new end-game activity called The Wolf of Saturn Six and two new frames in development. Stay tuned for more news in the coming months.
