Spider-Man
Insomniac and Sony don’t really have to sell us on Spider-Man – it’s out in September and what we’ve seen looks amazing. Regardless, an extensive walkthrough on the Raft was showcased with Spider-Man reacting to a prison break. Cue all the famous villains like Vulture, Shocker (or Electro as it turns out), Rhino and Scorpion teaming up to battle our friendly neighbourhood web-crawler.
This resulted in sequences like Spider-Man travelling around the Raft, wall-running and web-slinging all throughout. Overall, it looked smooth and fluid, even if the resulting fight with the bosses was just a cutscene (maybe it’ll be an actual playable sequence in the full game?). Furthermore, who was the person that Spider-Man looked towards at the end? More questions than answers abound but we’re excited.
