The classic struggle between man and… boulder? Chris Redfield has been a part of a lot of stupid stuff over the years (like the jet sequence we just spoke of), but this has to be his finest moment. Stuck in a volcano in the middle of a desperate, climactic fight against Wesker, Chris, seeing Sheva in need of his help, rushes to her aid, only to find his path being blocked by a boulder. He tries to push it away, putting his back into it- but, well, it’s a boulder. Of course he can’t push it away. That makes sense.
But then he punches it repeatedly, and that, for some reason, works out. So, you know, let’s just throw sense out the window.
