Halo originally meant to release on Mac
Xbox exclusive franchise Halo has sold millions and millions of copies across all of Microsoft’s consoles. It’s the flagship series for the company but Bungie’s FPS wasn’t always destined for consoles. In fact, before the developer signed on with Microsoft, Halo was going to be a Mac-exclusive title. It wasn’t exactly odd considering Bungie’s unabashed support for the Mac platform but considering the success Halo has had, it’s hard to believe it reaching the same heights had it actually stayed on Mac.
