Dead Rising 3 – Number of characters on screen
Yes, I know, I get it. Dead Rising 3 isn’t exactly a visual looker, now, is it? Of course it isn’t. But it is a stunning testament to the power of next gen when you consider how many enemies it manages to render on screen at the same time, all of them behaving dynamically. A zombie apocalypse is only ever as good as the sheer number of zombies that are trying to mob you, and by that standard, Dead Rising 3 shines like no other zombie game ever before, as you are swarmed by more zombies than you can count. Just like the first Dead Rising game way back on the Xbox 36 set a new standard for the number of enemies on screen, so too does Dead Rising 3 elevate that standard further.
