Sony Santa Monica went beyond expectations with the new God of War, revamping the series’ presentation in unique ways (like single take shots for entire scenes). Graphically, there’s a lot to love as well thanks to the physically based lighting system which interacts with different objects and environments, creating vibrant scenery and brooding set pieces with equal aplomb. That’s not including the strong image quality, excellent effects like rain and snow, and the phenomenal textures and detail on characters.
