Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor

Microsoft tried to make some big leaps with its Kinect add on, but failed to make an impact thanks to unresponsive controls and a lack of compelling software that actually took advantage of the full body motion controls. And when the gaming giant tried to capitalize on the situation with Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, it ended up biting them back in the foot. Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor was an interesting concept that tried to marry traditional controller inputs with Kinect gestures, but that resulted in one of the most frustrating control schemes to date. Add to that brutal difficulty that goes hand in hand with developer From Software’s works, and it isn’t too hard to understand why most fans didn’t even care to try out this game in the first place.
