Class Zero Falls – Final Fantasy: Type-0

Class Zero has its work cut out for it, repelling the attacks by Milites and ultimately liberating captured regions. Unfortunately, the real threat, Tempus Finis, arrives soon and the world is on the brink of annihilation. If Class Zero declines the Vermillion Bird Crystal’s offer to become l’Cie, they eventually face off against the Rursus Arbiter. They can’t win, of course, until the spirits of Rem and Machina – who had just died after fighting each other – help them. Their injuries are fatal, unfortunately but they don’t grieve. Instead, they imagine how things could be after the war is over. Granted, there’s a whole lot more to the story of Orience but seeing Class Zero go out on a heroic note while wistfully imagining a brighter future still hurts.
