Given just how many developers and publishers have been involved with the Star Wars franchise in the games industry over the years, it makes sense that the series would have tried its hand at multiple different genres. What’s surprising is just how well it has succeeded in so many of them- RPGs with Knights of the Old Republic, MMOs with The Old Republic, dogfighters with Rogue Squadron, shooters with Jedi Knight and Battlefront, action adventure with The Force Unleashed- and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
