YAKUZA 6: THE SONG OF LIFE
Yakuza 6 might not be the biggest open world (or open world-ish, at the very least) environment around, but it’s how dense it is that helps it stand out. The streets of Kamurocho and Onomichi, brought to life beautifully by the Dragon Engine, feel dense and lived in, and are full of interesting activities for the player to engage with. Whether its spending time in the arcade, or taking a dive into the game’s many side quests, most of which are surprisingly engaging, or pouring hours into the game’s plethora of mini-games, there is more than enough stuff to do in Yakuza 6 that if you wish, you can put the main story on hold for hours on end.
