Contraband is developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Xbox Game Studios. Aside from its setting of 1970s Bayan, co-op support and being developed on the Apex Engine like the Just Cause franchise, we know very little about the game. On the Xbox Two Podcast back in March, insider Rand al Thor 19 and Windows Central’s Jez Corden spoke about how it was allegedly delayed to 2023. It was originally slated to release this year so there’s the chance of some kind of gameplay reveal, if not a new trailer, at Microsoft’s show.
