The Lost Vikings
Blizzard earned its reputation back in the day with real-time strategy titles like Warcraft and Starcraft. However, it was also known for The Lost Vikings, a quirky puzzle platformer that was initially released for the Amiga and DOS in 1993 before coming to Sega Genesis in 1994. It would receive a sequel in 1997 with the same sense of humor but a more unforgiving difficulty.
Since then, the Vikings have made sporadic appearances, mostly as references, in other Blizzard titles though they would also be playable in Heroes of the Storm. What a new title would look like in this generation is unknown but perhaps Microsoft could go the Battletoads route and have a new visual style while retaining the same classic platforming.
