Jill Valentine Returns – Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 5 starts out with the assumption that Jill Valentine is dead but it quickly becomes apparent that this may not be the case. Given the series’ penchant for surprises, it was nice to see Jill actually alive. This was her first real appearance in a Resident Evil game since 1999’s Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, even if she beat the absolute tar out of Chris. Though not playable in the base game, she got her own little side-story in the Desperate Escape DLC.
