Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
Though the story devolved into a mess, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War’s combat still held up very well. Leveling up Talion and having a wider range of skills to create havoc, loot to collect, and huge sieges to unleash your arsenal upon was a blast. You could turn your foes Deranged (which may also create Maniacs) or ride a drake and rain fire down upon the opposition among other things. The Nemesis system is also more robust as you manipulate Orcs, partake in pit fights for loot and create a venerable army to battle Sauron.
