When everyone was still disappointed at Diablo 3’s launch state, Runic Games’ Torchlight 2 released to extensive fan fare. Along with a brand new story and several distinct classes, it featured in-depth skill customization, a smattering of unique loot for each class, and a fairly robust end-game centered on grinding maps. Plus it looked good and featured numerous awesome features, like sending your pet to town to sell unwanted loot and extensive mod support.
