Assassin’s Creed Shadows has put it lightly, one from one stumble to another ahead of launch. Yet the delay may have done wonders because recent stealth and combat gameplay looks solid. The post-Sengoku Japan setting, seasons (and how they interact with the Wanted system), contrasting playstyles, and world design could be the win it desperately needs.
