Remedy Entertainment is bringing back its cult classic franchise with Alan Wake 2, a sequel that will be largely focused on survival horror. The game picks up years after the original game, and will see the beloved writer conjuring up a new narrative in hopes of escaping the Dark Place. Alan Wake 2 will feature a dual protagonist structure, and players will also have to find and analyze clues in order to progress through the story. It all looks especially beautiful thanks to the power of the Northlight Engine, and it’s set to release on 17 October, 2023 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
