Call of Duty Black Ops 3

Now that Call of Duty Black Ops 3 has been officially unveiled, details about what we can expect to see in the game are starting to emerge. Earlier this week we found out what the PC requirements for the new title would be. Now, thanks in large part to David Vonderhaar answer questions from fans on Twitter we know quite a bit more on a wide range of subjects.

For instance, thanks to one enterprising young gamer, we now know there are 14 sensitivities in the upcoming game, the developer also said that horizontal and vertical are currently split. It should be pointed out that the way he answered made it sound like this was more a “right now” answer than a definite final decision.

The producer also said that he believes the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta is going to help iron out quite a few of the kinks. At one point he was asked if the guns will be balanced at launch. His response was “it’s not like we purposely don’t balance the guns for launch and the beta will helps us start stronger than usual.” Vonderhaar also talked about special features that Black Ops fans have enjoyed in the series such as perk slots and wildcards. The producer said the plan to have two slots now and Wildcards active like BO2. He once again stressed that could be changing but it was the plan at the present time.

Finally, Vonderhaar was asked about how score streaks would work in this game. He responded that they will reset on the death of the player but specialist weapons abilities won’t. So a little bit of good and bad news for series regulars. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is due to be released on November 6.
