Overwatch PTR Servers Going Down on February 27th

Bastion changes coming soon?

Posted By | On 27th, Feb. 2017

Overwatch could have more than just season 4 of Competitive Play coming on February 28th. On the official forums, Blizzard’s Bill Warnecke recently said that the Public Test Realm for update 1.8 would be coming to a close on February 27th.

“Hey folks, thanks for your support during the 1.8 PTR! We’ll be taking the PTR servers offline early Monday morning (Pacific Time), the PTR Bug Report forums will also close at that time.”

This usually means that the update will be available for the live version soon and since Blizzard does updates on Tuesdays, it’s possible that it arrives tomorrow. This update will introduce a number of things like Capture the Flag as a default mode in Arcade, a Server Browser for Custom Games and changes for heroes like Bastion and Roadhog.

What are your thoughts on Bastion’s potential buffs going live tomorrow? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned for more updates.
