Along with a new trailer and hours of new gameplay footage, Borderlands 3’s gameplay reveal event yesterday also brought loads of new information with it. From the length of the campaign to the crowd-pleasing fact that the game isn’t going to follow a games-as-a-service model, and will be featuring absolutely no microtransactions, we’ve learnt a great deal about the looter shooter that has got a lot of people very excited.

There are a few more interesting tidbits that we haven’t gotten into yet though- for instance, Borderlands 3 will allow you to play the game offline, which is rare for a looter shooter these days, and is doubtless bound to be welcome news to many. What’s even better that the game will support split-screen co-op.

New details on bosses have also been revealed- most notable of which has to be the fact that the game will have a lot more boss fights than any other Borderlands game has had. Many of these are also being touted as very large bosses, and boss intros are also going to be in once more. Bosses will be able to drop weapon skins, as well as the weapons they were using themselves (which should happen most of the time).

Borderlands 3 also has level scaling, so both the enemies and the loot you find will scale right alongside your level. Meanwhile, vehicles are also going to have extensive customization options, and you can also steal vehicles from your enemies.

Additionally, of the various planets and planetoids you’ll be visiting in Borderlands 3, many will have zero gravity sections, while gravity will also often vary in different environments across a single planet. Gearbox also confirms that from a visual design perspective, they’ve tried to keep things varied and unique by having a lot of different environments.

If you want more details, you can watch the entire gameplay reveal event through here. Recently, the developer also confirmed that Borderlands 3 would have raids, and that more details about the endgame will be revealed around E3. Read more about that through hereBorderlands 3 is out on September 13 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
