Alatreon, the Blazing Black Dragon, has a new release window. Capcom confirmed in a new tweet that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne’s Title Update 4 would release in early July. The update was originally slated to release in May but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Not much is known about the next Title Update, save for its introduction of Alatreon. As such, it’ll pose perhaps the toughest challenge for players yet since it can harness Fire, Ice, Dragon and Electricity. New weapons and armor along with a new special investigation to take out Alatreon are to be expected. Of course, various quality of life improvements and room additions should also be included.
A more concrete release date for Title Update 4 should be provided in the coming weeks so stay tuned. It’ll release for PS4, Xbox One and PC players on the same day. In the meantime, if you’ve never played Monster Hunter World before, check out out reviews for the PC version and its expansion Iceborne.
