Following Nvidia’s GeForce RTX event yesterday, a new trailer for Bloober Team’s The Medium was released. Thanks to the developer partnering with Nvidia, the horror title will offer some impressive reflections and shadows with RTX enabled. Check it out below.

The Medium will support DirectX Raytracing and Nvidia DLSS when it launches, with the latter providing a nice performance bump. The story focuses on a psychic named Marianne who explores an abandoned hotel resort to unravel a strange tragedy. As the game progresses, she’ll travel between the real world and spirit world – sometimes, even both simultaneously thanks to the Dual Reality mechanic.

For more details on how the gameplay works, check out the 14 minute video here. The Medium launches on January 28th for Xbox Series X/S and PC. For those willing to give ray-tracing a spin on PC, you’ll at least need a GeForce RTX 2080 to play it at 4K. Check out more of the PC requirements here.
