Guilty Gear Strive - Jack-O' Valentine

Jack-O’ is the next DLC character coming to Arc System Works’ Guilty Gear Strive tomorrow for Season Pass 1 owners and August 30th as a standalone purchase. That means a new starter guide going over her various abilities and fighting style. Check it out below.

A lot of Jack-O’s kit relies on the ability to manipulate Servants. Upon summoning a Servant, she can pick them up, attack with them, hit to launch them at foes and much more. It’s even possible to command a group of Servants to attack, though you’ll need to keep the Servant Gauge in mind for summoning. Servants also have a time limit before dissipating.

One neat little touch is the ability to Defend Command with a Servant, slightly knocking an opponent off balance if they attack it. This provides a big enough window to counter with a Super move. Jack-O’ is the second character from Season Pass 1 to join the roster after Goldlewis Dickinson – two more are coming this Fall. Stay tuned for more details on those in the coming months.
