343 Industries is going all-in with Halo Infinite’s live service multiplayer model, and while we’re going to see everything from fixes to issues such as Battle Pass progression and the lack of playlists in the coming weeks and months, we’re also going to see the multiplayer component expand and evolve as time progresses. One would assume that that will also include new modes, especially as the game gets new Events, and sure enough, several upcoming modes seem to have been uncovered in the game.

As recently discovered by a Reddit user, launching into Halo Infinite offline allows players to access a list of multiplayer modes, a large number of which aren’t present in the game as it exists right now, suggesting that they could be part of 343 Industries’ plans to add to the game in the future. These include multiple Arena, Fiesta, Tactical, and Ranked modes. The full list is:

  • Arena: Attrition
  • Arena: Attrition Dodgeball
  • Arena: Elimination
  • Fiesta: Attrition
  • Fiesta: CTF
  • Fiesta: One Flag CTF
  • Fiesta: Strongholds
  • Ranked: Elimination
  • Ranked: One Flag
  • Tactical: Slayer
  • Tactical: Slayer Commandos
  • Tactical: Slayer Manglers
  • Tactical: Slayer Sidekicks
  • Tactical: Slayer Stalker Rifles

343 Industries has already confirmed that Tactical (SWAT), Free-for-All, and Fiesta playlists are going to be added to Halo Infinite before the end of the year. Meanwhile, Tactical modes have also been discovered in datamining leaks, and could also be attached to the upcoming Tactical Ops event, which is reportedly set for February.

A wider selection of multiplayer modes that includes missing fan-favourites has been something that many players have been demanding, so it’s encouraging to see that 343 Industries seems to have plans to address that. Of course, it remains to be seen when (or if) this will come to fruition, so stay tuned for more update.

Halo Infinite’s single player campaign will launch for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on December 8.
