Sonic Frontiers, Endless Dungeon, and Company of Heroes 3 Playable at Gamescom 2022

Soul Hackers 2, Two Point Campus, Total War: Warhammer 3, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and more are also playable for attendees on August 24-28.

In addition to showcasing Sonic Frontiers at Gamescom Opening Night Live, Sega has confirmed it will be playable for attendees. A meet and greet with Sonic Team head Takashi Iizuka is also set for August 26th at Hall 7 on TikTok’s stand.

Amplitude Studios’ rogue-lite Endless Dungeon is also playable while HYENAS, the multiplayer sci-fi FPS from Creative Assembly, will have a photo experience with props (including arcade cabinets and boom boxes). Rounding out the upcoming titles are Atlus’ Soul Hackers 2 and Company of Heroes 3, the latter offering a 1v1 multiplayer map in Italy against the AI and a sample mission from the North Africa campaign.

Attendees can also play recently released titles like Demon Slayer -Kimetsu No Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, Total War: Warhammer 3, Humankind, Two Point Campus and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Gamescom 2022’s physical event takes place from August 24th to 28th with publishers like THQ Nordic also confirmed. Gamescom Opening Night Live is set for August 23rd and offers a two-hour-long showcase with over 30 titles.
