Baldur’s Gate 3 finally leaves early access in August 2023 and will be available for PC via Steam and GOG. During its latest trailer reveal at The Game Awards, Larian Studios also confirmed a physical Collector’s Edition would be available.
The Collector’s Edition includes quite a spread of content, like an 1100-gram painted Battle Diorama with a Mindflayer facing a Drow, made of PVC/ABS plastics. A hardcover art book with 160 pages of concept art and environmental designs, and a set of four-page character sheets for each Origin character are also provided.
There’s also an A3-sized cloth map of Faerun, a Tadpole Keyring made from zinc alloy, 32 die-cut vinyl stickers, and three Magic: The Gathering Booster Packs. The “Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate” is included and limited to the first 15,000 Collector’s Editions sold. Finally, you get a Certificate of Authenticity and a D20 engraved metal dice.
Baldur’s Gate 3 will get more information on December 14th, 10 AM PT at Larian’s next Panel From Hell. It will showcase Patch 9’s contents, which include a new class and “multiple highly anticipated additions.” Stay tuned for more information next week.
