Baldur's Gate 3 (3)

Ever since it entered early access development in October 2020, everyone has wondered when Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3 would release. Its new trailer at The Game Awards finally answered – August 2023. Check it out below.

Of course, there’s a lot more to see, like the city of Baldur’s Gate, various enemies (including a massive red dragon and a Mimic), and the return of Minsc. As it turns out, a cult kidnapped Minsc and seemingly trapped him inside a Mimic chest. He escapes brutally and is none too happy about the imprisonment, which should make for some fun times.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is currently available for PC, with Act 1 playable in Steam Early Access. A new Panel from Hell is coming next week, with Patch 9 also out before the year ends. Larian confirmed that Acts 2 and 3 were actively being play-tested and more content is coming to Act 1. Stay tuned for more details next week.
