SaGa Emerald Beyond, the next title in Square Enix’s SaGa series, launches on April 25th, 2024, for PS5, PS4, PC, iOS, Nintendo Switch and Android. Like previous games, there are multiple playable characters as players explore 17 different worlds, from forests to a world ruled by vampires.

The six leads each have their own stories and goals, with five story arcs to explore. Depending on the player’s choices, the story branches accordingly, with the worlds changing and offering new paths. This also means several different endings to unlock. The Timeline Battles of previous titles also return with United Attacks for performing chain attacks and the Glimmer System for acquiring abilities.

You can also change up the order of turns, interrupt attacks and much more. SaGa Emerald Beyond will launch physically and digitally in Japan, along with a Collector’s Edition exclusive to the Square Enix e-STORE. The latter includes two figures, a bag, a soundtrack CD set and an art book. Stay tuned for details on a potential worldwide release for the same.
