Pearl Abyss has released a brand-new trailer for Crimson Desert showcasing some of the major improvements making their way to the game. The updated version of the title is being referred to as Crimson Desert Enhanced, and along with all of the changes we’ve seen since the game’s release, it also brings with it new story moments and more voice-over and language support.
The trailer, which you can check out below, showcases Crimson Desert at its very best. The enhanced version of the game is out now for free across all platforms – PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Unfortunately, however, Pearl Abyss has been tight-lipped about what these new story scenes will be, and players will have to play through the main questline for themselves to find them.
Crimson Desert Enhanced is only the latest update establishing a strong track record of Pearl Abyss’ strong post-launch support for the open-world game. Earlier this month, the studio brought in the ability to use Camp Funds to conduct research, as well as a new Knowledge tab that allows players to track every quest in the game.
Pearl Abyss has also confirmed that it has been working on an expansion for Crimson Desert. While no details about this expansion have been revealed, the studio has noted that it is aiming for a Q3 2026 launch. In the meantime, players have discovered some changes made to the game that indicate that the expansion might include some nautical adventures. Recent updates have seemingly added plenty of detail to the game’s various coastlines, for instance.
