If you thought it was odd to have only one PlayStation collaboration armor set when Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition launches, Sucker Punch Productions has announced three more. Pulled from Helldivers, Astro Bot and Journey, each outfit contains its respective franchise’s sense of style.
The Helldivers armor is close to the original, while the Astro Bot outfit mimics the color scheme as accurately as possible. But the true winner is undoubtedly the Journey armor set. Besides being incredibly accurate to its namesake in both design and colors, it seamlessly translates the Traveler’s look into the action-adventure title’s world. Like a “What if” scenario, where their occupation is war instead of existential wandering.
Regardless of which you prefer, all three armor sets, along with The Last of Us outfit, will drop for all players from the new Most Wanted mode. It goes live on October 1st for free and accompanies the launch of Echoes of Sekigahara, an expansion that sees Atsu reunite with an unlikely individual from the past.
As she ventures to a new region in Ezo to rescue someone she cares about, she’ll also harness new heavy weapons and techniques to combat new threats. Stay tuned for more details, and in the meantime, check out our review of the base game.
