Sucker Punch Productions released a new trailer for Ghost of Yōtei, specifically for the upcoming Most Wanted mode. As a new single-player experience, it lets players select their “Hunter” and take on Bounties. Completing these unlocks Perks and other characters, including Oyuki (who wields a Kusarigama and dual blades), newcomer Nagato (with his Odachi and hammer) and none other than Jin Sakai.
That’s right – the original Ghost returns, showing everyone how it’s done. One such ability involves a thrust kick that generates a powerful gust of wind to knock foes off balance. Suffice it to say that his inclusion makes the rogue-like survival mode worth the price of entry alone.
But that’s the best part: Most Wanted is a completely free mode for existing players, included in an update alongside the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion. You’ll want to pick up the latter though, especially since it offers a look at Atsu’s past in the Battle of Sekigahara and her history with Nagato. Alongside a new weapon, you can explore a brand- new region while uncovering new armor sets and techniques.
Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted arrive on October 1st, exclusively for PS5. You can also pick up the base game and expansion as part of the Complete Edition.
