While it’s facing backlash for adding Easy Anti-Cheat to Helldivers 2 last month, Arrowhead Game Studios is back with new content, specifically some new nightmarish Terminid enemies. Check out the Ministry of Truth’s public service announcement/propaganda video to see them in action.
From the Noxious Scavenger, which is quicker than the average type, to the Noxious Spewer and its Web Spit, which can disable sprinting, there’s a lot to fear. Even scarier is that poison has two damage-over-time stages and can hinder your vision. If you’re poisoned enough, Web Spit or not, say goodbye to running away.
Fortunately, a well-timed Stim can help. You’ll have your work cut out for you, as Terminid caves now appear in more biomes across the galaxy. As always, Super Earth wants you to cleanse them in the only viable way: Fire. Lots and lots of fire. And maybe a few orbital lasers where possible, but otherwise, fire.
Helldivers 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out the latest Warbond, which brought all manner of rifles to the game, here. With nearly 23 million players as of August, you have to wonder where it can go next. As always, stay tuned for more updates.
